For now, clicking on the cart button at the bottom-right of product images takes you to the WhatsApp chat of the store, with the product link and a message to the store owner. You can then proceed to place your order with the store owner.
We're working very hard to accomodate orders directly from Transact in the nearest future, allowing ordering multiple products from multiple stores without having to leave the platform.
Transact does not encourage ordering from stores that haven't been verified. (All inaugural vendors are verified)
When signing up, you can click on the 'Register as Vendor' button to become a vendor. Even after signing up as a customer, you have the option to become a vendor. Simply navigate to the vendor page, fill the form and add your store.
At this stage, Transact is not equipped to integrate service providers (such as hairdressers, nail-techs, etc...). You can get in touch with us on speeding things up!
In the vendor dashboard, expanding a product will give the option to create a form for editing it. Fill the form(s) and then submit it to edit the product.
Wherever you see this, it signifies the store is an OG. They were among the very first stores on the platform and Transact endorses and recommends their products to all users.
Visit your store dashboard. Identify the "Get Verified button", fill the form and upload the necessary files. Typically, verification applications are responded to in 2-3 days.
Wherever you see this, click on it. It reveals useful information or tips to improve your experience.
Click on the "Get Started" button to sign up as a user (or vendor).
In the 'Find Anything' search bar, users can search for stores or products and receive suggestions or see their recent searches if their query doesn't match any. (Tip: entering '#ClearRecentSearches' and clicking on Search will clear your recent searches)
Clicking on the magnifying glass or funnel icons will expand the search bar and sort menu respectively when browsing through the products of a store. One also has the option of sorting stores by highest rating. It is also worth noting that searching for a product name when viewing stores will show the store that has the product.
There's a special 'My School Only' option accessible when you click on the filter button, which will display only stores or products of stores that share the same school as you. To filter to ANY school, simply type the name of the school in the search bar and as you type, the displayed schools or products will be narrowed down to those matching the school.
All authenticated users can leave product or store reviews. Only vendors can leave testimonials on their experience with Transact. Vendors cannot leave reviews on their own store or store products.
When on the "Discover" view, a button to view all stores exists, and on the "Stores" view, a back to discover button exists. Furthermore, when viewing a store a product, a navigation route/path is available in the form "Home/Stores/{Store-in-view}/{Product-in-view}". Clicking on any path can aid in navigation.
Clicking on the eye-icon will give you a quick look at the product, while the View more button takes you to the product page. Tapping/Clicking on a product image will expand it.
Clicking/Tapping on a product tag will automatically direct you to the main search bar on the home page with that tag as the search query, to show you related stores or products.
